What I did:
Co-investigator for several segments around Australia. WA content – Obtained permissions for filming specific content on Country. I liaised with Aboriginal corporations, and Circle of Elders groups. I provided plain English text documents outlining each proposed topic and item/location to film. Complete recce, to each filming location in Western Australia. During filming ensured that film crew were adhering to culturally safe practices. Post-production reviewed content to ensure Indigenous knowledges respected and where appropriate protected.
